I’ve never seen such viral hatred towards a politician in my lifetime, as I see on a daily basis the hatred towards President Trump – not only in daily discourse, but constantly on the news. Ordinary, educated, and intelligent people openly hope for his assassination, or death by a heart attack, in everyday conversation.
These same people, educated in our top universities and successful in their careers, openly have the same contempt towards the “Trumpers,” those people who support Trump, all 45 million of them. These “deplorable” people work in minimum wage jobs, like Walmart’s, and have only high school educations – if that. Many live in rural areas. They work at low paying, blue collar jobs. They get get their hands dirty. (Not like our antiseptic elites, whose hands are sparkling clean from touching only books, papers, and the keys of their computers, and whose only physical work they do is on yoga mats and exercise machines.)
These deplorables actually build things and repair things, as opposed to our esteemed elitists, who have advanced degrees, thus giving them the wisdom to tell the deplorables how they should live and how they should think.
Many of these deplorables are farmers “who cling to their religion and guns and have antipathy (what a big word!) towards people who don’t look like them.” The only decent thing that these red-necked (caused by working out in the sun all day), racist, ignorant people do is supply the all the food that every person in the country eats (without gratitude).
Why can’t these despicable farmers move to big cities, hang out on street corners, and live off the fat of the land?
The most despicable thing that the deplorables want in life is to live independently and self-sufficiently. They want less government. How dare they! Don’t they realize their obligation to give a large portion of their production to people who don’t (won’t) work and to people who deserve to be millionaires because they have doctorate and law degrees, and thus have the wisdom and the holiness to tell the deplorables what they must do — and if they don’t do it, they will be sued.
Many of these deplorables dwell in the immoral belief that the U.S. should have immigration laws that are actually enforced! How can they have this fascist belief when we are all immigrants and when we refused Jewish immigrants from Nazi Germany?
It is obvious that the only ethical, American, thing to do is to allow all illegal immigrants in the country to be citizens, and then to have a clean immigration law, allowing the new citizens to immigrate all their relatives. Finally, we must open the borders to anyone in the world who is poor, tired, oppressed, or yearns to be free. After all, that’s what it says right on the Statue of Liberty!
Finally, if all this wasn’t bad enough, these same deplorables don’t want to pay for the one million abortions done every year. The deplorables cling to their religion that says that abortion is a sin. (What a fascist belief!) They are denying the right of American citizens to fornicate as much as they like and then have others pay for the consequences of their fornication. What is more American than that? What is more free?
This all makes one think that the mechanic who spends his days getting his hands greasy and bruised, while yanking parts out of cars, and who has only a high school education, may have more wisdom – on some issues – than Elizabeth Warren.
But, nonetheless, he still should be hung up by the neck. He is deplorable, just like his idol, Donald Trump.
I’m sick with all those “deplorables” as you say, that hide behind their religion, and has too much to say about what you should and should not do, when they themselves are probably living a double life. I dont get why they have too much high of a moral standard when human nature have shown since back in the ages, that we can’t reach those standards
Rachel,
Tx for your comment.
We just love telling other people what to do, don’t we?
One seemingly contradiction in the DC elites is that they not only do want the society to conform to their ideals, but they want to become famous, wealthy, and successful in the process. They all want to be JFK.
Where is Ghandi when we need him?
(I must admit, though, I’m one of these obnoxious elites, although I don’t live in DC and have no plans of becoming wealthy anytime soon. I just want to reverse the absolutely self-destructive path that we are on, and commit ourselves to sustainable austerity and a world government (click “Candidacy”). Actually, I’m not only one of them, I’m worst than them! That’s why I don’t expect too many votes in 2020.
But you know who’s worse still? Jesus himself! He said we should sell everything we own, give it to the poor and follow him. I wonder how many votes he would get?
Tx again,
RG
I don’t even know what happened to America anymore! With Trump’s presidency and hateful comments, I just don’t feel like we’re moving forward.
I agree. It’s like everyday I wake up and I just feel that something’s happening again in the news. What did Trump do now?
Davina,
I agree. It seems like there is something wrong with our whole system. It doesn’t seem to work any more. This gun conflict is a good example. The vast majority wants more gun control, but we can have it. It seems the special interest groups are suppressing an authentic democracy.

Davina and David,
Tx for your comments.
I think a basic problem with Trump is that he won’t do his job! He was hired to do specific tasks, and he won’t do them! Instead he is spending all his time on Twitter and TV. What would happen to you if you took a job and spent your time on Twitter and TV?
One specific task he was assigned to do was to run a $4 trillion a year bureaucracy. He doesn’t do this. The White House is poorly managed — with 1/3 of the people leaving this year — and tens of important positions have yet to be filled.
Another task was to create peace in the world. After Iraq and Afghanistan, the voters don’t want any more wars. But Trump goes on rattling the tails of the tigers because — I guess — it’s fun, it creates controversy (thus ratings), and proves what a “great” country we are.
When he is putting us on the brink of war, it seems entirely reasonable for the Progressives — including the FBI — to do everything possible to impeach him — before the bombs explode. (I must mention, we never drop bombs on big countries, like China, Russia, or Iran, but on little countries that can’t fight back, like Iraq, Afghanistan and North Korea.)
But still, I can’t stand the constant denigration of Trump. I guess I see it as a form of hate, not only for him, but for the deplorables who support him.
One thing he is doing, which I feel is good, is standing up to the Hispanic Con, those Hispanics who want to take over the country with open borders. Everyone forgets how, in 1986, the U.S. citizens were promised that if we made all the illegal immigrants citizens, the government would really enforce immigration laws. And look at what happened! There is no question in my mind that this is exactly what the Democrats and the Hispanic con want to do again: for, with open borders, the Democrats will be in power forever and the Republican party will be dumped into the dustbin of history.
Another thing Trump has done was stand up to the feminist con. I think he was right in asking “What ever happened to due process? Or innocent until proven guilty?” We’re in a crazy situation where a few women can accuse a man of being sexually inappropriate with them, and he looses his career. If anyone asks for due process for the alleged sexual abuser, the feminist con says, “Are you calling me a liar?”
Your thoughts?
