A man is driving around the streets of New York City at 2 AM, looking for a parking space. The only way to find a parking space in New York is if someone pulls out of one, and no one is pulling out of a parking space at 2 AM.
Finally after two hours of driving around, the man is at the end of his rope. He stops the car, puts his head on his steering wheel, and prays:
“Lord, please find me a parking space. If you do, I’ll contribute $100 to the church this Sunday.”
Immediately a car pulls out of its parking space, right in front of him.
The man immediately says,
“Never mind, Lord, I found one.”
How conveniently we forget! Haha This is funny. You know I think mankind is used to making deals with the God but doesn’t push through
This is a funny one, RG! It’s like we only make deals when it’s convenient for us. What happened to sacrifice?
Rachel and David,
Tx for your comments. Right on!
RG
Would love to hear more jokes about humanity’s not so good traits. HAHA I think these things or traits are what humbles us that we’re not perfect and holy.
I think it’s human nature for us to be making deals at our convenience. Or was it something we just acquired because the society says so?
But I gotta admit, I do this sometimes (maybe more often than not!)
Davina,
So do we all. Perhaps we’re all more human than we would like to admit!
RG
Probably right. And I think we’re admitting only on the good parts of being a human, and eliminating all the bad nature that comes with it as well.
New year, new jokes? Would like to hear more satirical jokes!
Hands up if you belong to the group who waits for more jokes!
Joining the group!
I just hope that instead of ingratitude, we should all start to be grateful for the things we have.
