President Trump did it again. He shot himself in the foot and outraged the whole country. In the meantime, it was reported that he, some of his staff, and some of this supporters thought it was the greatest thing going.
After all, Trump’s saying the Mika Brezenski, at a visit to Mar-a-Largo, was bleeding from a recent facelift, resulted in the whole country talking about nothing else but “Trump, Trump, Trump.” And this seemingly one of the main priorities of Trump and his Presidency.
When Trump was thinking about running for President, one of his consultants told him the campaign could cost him, personally, up to $80 million. Trump responded with: Well, that’s the cost of a good yacht, and the campaign will be a whole lot more fun.
Trump seems to have the same attitude. He’s just having a good time, getting in fights with everyone and having everyone talking about nothing else but Trump, Trump, Trump.
In a recent episode of “Morning Joe” Mika and Joe Scarborough played the role of innocent victims. They presented themselves as innocent victims: doing nothing else but be good journalists and good entertainers. Then the evil Donald Trump attacked pure, innocent Mika. The only thing they did, and continue to do, is trash Trump as having a psychiatric disorder and being dangerous to the country and to the world.
Mika stated that Trump’s tweets didn’t affect her at all: “I have a thick skin,” but she worries for the country and the world to have a leader who can be so easily played: pinprick his narcissistic ego balloon and it pops.
Not that Joe and Mika don’t have a point, especially since Trump is the President and a little more (a lot more) is expected of him. It’s just that the moral purity of the “impeach Trump” crowd gets boring – and annoying – after a while. Consider the persona of moral purity and moral superiority of Maddow, Matthews, O’Donnell and the rest of them, while they denigrate the absolute evil of Trump, and consequently his 45 million — mostly working class and deplorable — supporters.
